We constantly get requests to provide more seat covers and seat inserts on CLUB100 race and test days. Everytime we did this, they just seemed to go missing and hence we suggest you try to purchase your own seat insert rather than use one of ours.

As pointed out by a few regular drivers on the chat forum, it is really important for a driver to have a good snug fit in the seat in order that they do not 'roll around' or get thrown from side to side. This in turn will allow the driver to focus on control of the Kart.

If you are a regular competitor, we suggest you get a seat insert (if needed) from Tillett Seats (tel 01795 420312) in Sittingbourne. Tell them you race with CLUB100 and they will then know the size of seat we use. They will also want to know if you need a full seat insert or a 'half' seat with the bottom cut out. This second seat is much lighter and is used by a few of the leading Lightweight drivers already.

They may also request some sort of understanding of your size in order to provide the right size of insert.

On Sprint race days, we will have a limited (about 6-8) number of seat inserts for hire (on a first come, first served basis), but regardless of this, we suggest you get your own if you intend to be a regular with CLUB100 in 2011.
